Challenge
I had drawn a heavy display face over the winter and needed a way to show it to people without sending a font file.
Approach
Paperweight is one long page: a big pangram, the full character set, a few words set at poster size and a slider that scrubs through the weights. It was built in Framer in a week.
Outcome
It started more client conversations than any case study that year. The face is still unreleased and still a work in progress. Building it taught me how much a single page can do when it is about one thing. The slider, the poster words and the character grid are now patterns I reuse when a client launches a product with a strong visual idea of its own.
